2021 Suzuki Ciaz Facelift Coming Soon to PH

Updated on May 06 2024

If you're in the market for a new subcompact sedan, Suzuki has something for you. It's the facelifted Ciaz, and it will be in showrooms soon. For now, info is limited, but we know enough about it and share it with you.

Recently, the updated Ciaz was revealed in Thailand and the design of the Philippine-spec model will likely be the same as the overseas model. That means it will get a new pair of headlights, front grille, and front bumper. We can also expect the new wheel design to make it to the local variant. As for the rest of the car, the look is largely carried over from the outgoing version.

We can also expect the interior updates from Thailand to make it here as well. There's the new instrument cluster and additional artificial leather trimmings in the 2021 edition. It might even get a new touchscreen as part of the upgrades.

According to sources, the 2021 Ciaz will retain the same engine from the outgoing model. It will still use the tried-and-tested 1.4-liter engine from the current model, and it makes 92 PS and 130 Nm of torque. Sources also say that there will only be one variant available, the 1.4 Automatic.

What isn't known yet are the features of the Philippine-spec model. We will know more once Suzuki officially unveils the subcompact sedan. As for price, it will start at PHP 888,888 with the first batch of models free from the Safeguard Bond.

But if your budget can't stretch that far yet, you can consider getting a second-hand version of the car. Here at Automart.PH, you can find one at your fingertips by heading to the website.
