METRO MANILA, – Former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will officially be sworn in as the 17th Philippine president on June 30, 2022.

The namesake of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr., who ruled the country from 1965 until he was ousted by a peaceful revolt in 1986, Marcos Jr. is set to hold his inauguration ceremony at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila.

In a June 25, 2022 Facebook post, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced road closures around the area for security reasons.
