Jetour Philippines Lineup May 2023

Jetour is a Chinese brand launched by Chery Holding Group in 2018. While under the Chery Holding Group, it is under a separate branch from Chery International which manages Chery Auto, Omoda & Jaecoo, and Exeed.

Jetour aims to target younger buyers with their stylish and affordable vehicles. It recently entered the Philippine market with a lineup of four models: the Jetour Ice Cream EV, the Jetour X70 SUV, the Jetour X70 Plus SUV, and the Jetour Dashing SUV.

Jetour Ice Cream EV

The Jetour Ice Cream EV is a fully electric small hatchback with an impressive range of up to 170 kilometers in a single charge. Maximum electric motor output is rated at 27 PS, and 85 Nm of torque. It has 12” rims, four usable seats, and air conditioning. It is capable of reaching a top speed of over 100 kph, and is also expressway-legal. Pricing is at PHP 699,000.

Jetour X70

The Jetour X70 is a compact 7-seater SUV that is priced at PHP 1,099,000 to PHP 1,499,000. Variants include the Journey (PHP 1,099,000), Travel (PHP 1,259,000), and Sport (PHP 1,299,000).

All Jetour X70s are powered by a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 147 PS and 230 Nm of torque, paired to a 8-speed automatic transmission.

The X70 Journey comes standard with seating for seven, and 18” rims.

Step up to the X70 Travel and keyless entry/start, cruise control, leather seats,12.3" digital instrument cluster, 20” rims, and a panoramic sunroof, among others are added.

The X70 Sport variant gets all of the features of the X70 Travel, but adds side airbags, and a power tailgate.

Jetour X70 Plus PHP 1,499,000

The X70 Plus, despite the name, is a separate, newer model compared to the Jetour X70. Power comes from the same 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, but makes a little more power at 156 PS, and 230 Nm of toruque, and is paired to a 6-speed wet-type dual-clutch automatic transmission. The X70 Plus gets electrically assisted power steering too. Standard features include LED headlights, 20” rims, a dual screen setup, heated and cooled seats, and a panoramic sunroof, among others.

Jetour Dashing

The Jetour Dashing is a compact SUV priced at PHP 1,329,000. It is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine making 156 PS, and 230 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

While being the flagship model of the brand, it must be noted that it only comes with five seats. To make up for the reduction in seats, the Jetour Dashing gives a sleeker, and more modern look, compared to the Jetour X70. It also comes with pop-out door handles, just like much more premium vehicles.

As the flagship model, it comes fully equipped with power-adjustable seats, a wireless charging pad, a Sony branded sound system, a panoramic sunroof, as well as a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
