What to do in Case of an Accident?
Accidents can be a horrifying experience for anyone. Nonetheless, you need to make sure to calm yourself down. Regain you composure and do the following:
- Report the incident to the police
In case of an accident, usually the first responders will be the police or traffic enforcers. They will gather details about the incident and note damage to vehicle and parties involved. It would be best to request for a police report since this is one of the requirements for filing insurance claims. - Take pictures of the accident and all involved
Proof is your #1 ally in case of an accident. Make sure to take photos of the scene and emphasize damages and vehicles involved. - Document accident specifics
Work with the other party and exchange information on: Names, contact details, addresses, model & plate number of involved vehicles, driver's license, and insurance policy coverage.

- "Fraud" or intentional misinformation (i.e. wrong information on identity, vehicle, etc.)
- Intentionally causing injury or damage to property
