Updated on September 18 2024
LTO Reminds Motorists of Looming Deadlines
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) is, once again, reminding all drivers and vehicle owners whose vehicle registrations expired during the declaration of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) lockdown in their respective provinces, of the upcoming deadlines for vehicle registrations.
Vehicle Plate Numbers and Their Validity
Vehicle Plate Number Ending In | Validity |
---|---|
The number “6” | Until August 31, 2021 ONLY |
The number “7” | Until September 30, 2021 ONLY |
Extension Deadlines for SPs and DLs Also Up
As mentioned in a previous Automart.Ph update about the LTO extension deadlines, student permits, and driver’s and conductor’s licenses that expired during MECQ will only have validity until September 30, 2021.
LTO is encouraging the driving public to take note of these deadlines and ensure that they renew their registrations before the deadlines are up.
