Blitz Sale FAQs
Blitz bidding allows users to place bids and get results in real-time. The highest bidder at the end of the auction wins the right to purchase the item. It is different from silent or closed bidding in that you’ll know immediately whether you’re winning or losing, and can then increase your bid in real time, or choose another unit to bid on. This saves you time and effort since you can know immediately whether you’re winning or losing.
Automart will keep your bid active for up to three (3) days, just in case the original winning bidder cancels or doesn’t push through with the sale. In that case, we may extend an offer for you to buy the unit.
You may bid on other units within the platform. You may also request for a refund of your bid deposit to your bank account (usually takes up to 14 days). Note that this will deactivate your account. Not to worry though, you can always reactivate at a future date.
