Nissan Philippines gives us a sneak peek of the 2022 Terra

So far, 2021 is shaping up to be a good year for SUVs. Just a week ago, Isuzu opened the reservation book for the all-new Mu-X. But not long after that, Nissan Philippines has released a few teasers for the heavily facelifted Terra.

For now, only dark, shadowy photos were provided by Nissan Philippines, but we can expect it to look much like the one shown in the Middle East. Over there, the SUV is called the X-Terra, a nameplate Nissan revived from the mid-'00s. The local launch date is unknown, but since the company already previewed it, it probably won't be that long of a wait.

Alongside the teaser, Nissan Philippines has also launched a microsite for the 2022 Terra. Don't expect full photos of the SUV just yet. The only images you'll see there are dark, preview pictures. Still, Nissan is pretty much ready to show the full version, and we're sure you're excited to see it as well. Not only that, the microsite also allows the visitors to book a test drive slot as early as now.

This is exciting news indeed, especially if you're looking for an SUV. With the rainy season on full swing and flash floods an inevitability these days, anything with extra ground clearance is a clear advantage when traveling.
